I booked my apartment in 2011 for 90 lacks and today in march 2018 i received posession with resale value of same 90 lacks ; whereas the resale value in normal circumstances * 15% ROI per annum cumulative would have been about 2 Crores. So there is more that half the value of fall in resale value.Bubble has already burst - its a Crash. Now what about the next stage in the Cycle ? when does it start to ballon up again for another bubble burst after say another 7 years cycle or so ? How long more should a small investor like me hold his investments until the market is bullish again and therefore maximization of returns on investment ? 5 to 7 years i guess ? Seniors , Members comments on this appreciated. Expecting positive inputs , i am a small investor - a dejected one though.
In current scenario put your money on FD. Note it will take 9 years for it do double. However, what you do get additionally is infinite peace of mind.
You can put all that money in Fixed deposits ONLY if you have it :) Welcome to the world speculative calculations. Where people who take loans of 70L on a 1 crore flat, sit down and calculate how much that 1 crore will be in 10 years. Conviniently forgetting that they don't have 1 crore to start with. They only have 30L, which they made for a down payment. You can't invest the money you don't have. In reality non-existent 1 crore, can't become 2 crores even in infinite years.

With warm regards,
