[QUOTE=flatowner2;n2594779][h=1]Why India's millionaires are ditching Indian citizenship[/h] The latest to join the bandwagon or rather jump ship is real estate tycoon Surendra Hiranandani, co-founder of the Hiranandani Group As many as 23,000 wealthy Indians have given up their citizenship since 2014, according to a report by investment and financial services firm Morgan Stanley. In fact, 7,000 of them left the country in 2017 alone. Most thugs get Cyprus citizenship by buying real state. This Hiranandani chap also did the same. India and Cyprus has taxation treaty , So he can reap benefits of 0% tax of Cyprus. Do you want such individuals to live in india. In some posts back idiots were complaining about Nirav modi, Vijay Mallay.. they both have foreign passports and they open bank accounts with those passports and escape by scamming. Most wealthy have dual passports. Most of A grade lawyers have foreign passports. One should look at FDI received by India. highest in the world. Clearly hot money is chasing india. We are country of 1.2 billions and in next 10 years hundreds of billionairs will be in India, so who needs Hiranandanis. mallayas.. Even Most IT people in Europe gets passports after 5 years. But they all put money in India.. I just laugh at doomsayers.. they have been wrong for last 15 years. No real estate crash will happen in India in this decade.

Who says there is slowdown? Ask any big defaulter, they're having a good time. Nirav Modi, Mallya, Mehul Bhai, Lalit etc are all having good time. The big defaulters having good time after gobbling lakhs of crores of loans. Economy is moving very fast. See how fast the NPAs are growing. And illegal black money transactions are all time high. Economy is so fast that we even our ATMs could not keep up with it.

Only 1-2 % businesses succeeds every year. 99 % have to default. So there will always be NPAs. Now cleanup is being done through Bankruptcy laws. Problem is not Mallayas, Nirav modis, problem is with Public sector banks. Fire sale privatization of all govt banks and bringing corporate taxes to 5-10 % will fix this problem.
