in my core portfolio now is - MARUTI / BAJAJ FIN / HDFC TWINS / RELIANCE (recently added) /KEC ..... GOING WELL Eicher was going good but now disappointing ..... Earlier Bajaj Finservve was underperforming Bajaj Finance ..... so had switched to Bajaj Finance .... some more stocks are non core and for trading only what's your portfolio ..?
This is bulk of my portfolio. Bharat financial is only inclusion this year having bought in first week of january after demo melt. Last year sold out my largest portfolio of Balmer Lawrie after holding for 8.5 years. I am not a fan of banks at all, SIB is a trading bet and idfc has been handed out to me by default as result of split. Since i mostly trade, for my investment portfolio i mostly look at returns in whole - last year this portfolio has returned 22.3% vs 15.7% of nifty. Best diversified fund has given returns of 36.8% in the same period. Long term investing is much easier than trading if one keeps patience. There is list of midcaps recommended in 2013. The returns are hypothetical as i got out of almost all in less than 1 year.

With warm regards,

Thanks ashish18 for sharing your portfolio n list ( I had few questions but you have deleted the second list you published in the morning so can't recall my questions as well :-). Q - What's up with Rain Industries ? I tried to evaluate it last week ( when dolly khanna news came in ). Though my analysis doesn't matter but i see nothing special on this counter at this price level ( other than hype ). Have i missed something ? Would love to read your perspective as well since you have such high allocation of rain industries in your portfolio.

With warm regards,
