[Asan Ideas for Wealth] Friends, I need help around a daunting EPF issue...

I resigned about 1.5yrs ago due to personal emergency but did not apply for my EPF until last week. Now the EPF team tells me that they won't process my EPF until new amends effective Jul'16 come into play. I smell a foul play here. Is this right that application made in Mar'16 will need to wait for new amends?
